Get Involved

Dianne Bondy, owner of Eastside Yoga Studio is a great example of how you can help bring the cleanse to the community. At last years cleanse she not only provided a free yoga class, she also held a recipe exchange at her studio. Dianne dedicated herself to doing the cleanse and put out a call to her students to join her. In addition to creating a group to support each other they also all purchased mason jars (environmentally friendly) and each took one recipe from the cleanse and made enough for the whole group. They met on the first day of the cleanse to share their excitement and the dishes
This cozy, eccentric Walkerville hot spot was a welcome destination for all participants who wanted to get out, socialize and still eat “cleanse friendly” foods during last year’s cleanse. Whether it was the yummy smoothies, fresh pressed juices, delicious soups or gratifying entrees, you would leaving knowing you did your body good while enjoying the company of your friends. We all know how hard eating well can be when going out. The best part about Taloola  is, their menu is always fresh, local, seasonal and made with love.
This Essex County business provides delivery of local, natural and organic produce, meats and groceries. They are true supporters of our local farmers. Last year, Linda studied the shopping list for our meal plan and found us many local and organic items. She assembled these goodies into a box and delivered it to cleanse participants for an incredible deal. Does it get more convenient and feelgood than that? We can’t wait to see what she finds us this year.
If you live in this community, you are in good hands because your locals NDs are the voice of preventative and proactive health care. Last year, Dr. Denis Marier ND enlightened us with a talk on Eco-psychology at the Hospice Workshop and organized an Eco Walk at Ojibway Park to culminate the cleanse. Dr. Janice Davie ND taught us about environmental toxins and brought the cleanse to the residents of Leamington and Amherstburg. Dr. Natasha Zajmalowski ND worked closely with Linda Sabatini from Hospice to organize the information packed evening as well as teach a “Cooking to Detoxify” class held at Hospice. During the week of the cleanse, Dr. Jennifer Strong ND, Dr. Katherine Kolowicz ND, and all ND sponsors created custom detoxification protocols for their patients.

When we work together we all benefit!

Please tell us, how will you bring the cleanse to your community?
