Please be cautious about braggs…tastes good but controversy…seems there is glutanate content, created after neutralizing HCL used in processing…..aka MSG. The company had to take msg free lable off bottle a few years back…too often loved by vegans and veg familes mine included…check out online…simmilar in soy sauces etc…in tons of premade veg products…if you are sensitive to theis nuro-tox msg then use with caution…

  2. Thank you for your comment Jen.
Yes there is naturally occuring MSG in Braggs products. However, the MSG found in this product is naturally occurring from the isolation process that this product goes through. According to scientific understanding, the Aminos are heated most likely with hydrochloric acid. Salt and glutamic acid are created during this process – MSG is the same chemical found in glutamic acid. Glutamic acid is a non-essential amino acid, also known as glutamates. In neuroscience, glutamate is an important neurotransmitter that plays a key role in long-term potentiation and is important for learning and memory. Although it is a non-essential amino acid it is still needed in the body and especially in the brain. Like anything this product is safe to consume in moderation. However, please note that one mans medicine is anothers poison, listen to your body and eat accordingly.
